Sustainability Without Borders is a nonprofit foundation and non-governmental organization, composed of a multidisciplinary team of professionals. This organization works in coordination with diverse stakeholders to address climate change. Its mission is to promote awareness and implementation of adaptation and mitigation projects for greenhouse gases, contributing a socio-environmental perspective to climate action. Looking ahead to 2030, it aims to contribute to building a more resilient planet and to low-carbon development, aligned with the goal of limiting the global temperature rise.
The Challenge
In recent years, Argentina has undertaken more than 600 climate commitments for 2030, aligned with the UNFCCC Paris Agreement’s NDC and national plans. To manage this diversity of agreements and commitments, a solution was needed to centralize and supervise implementation, identifying and addressing issues such as information fragmentation, lack of standardized indicators, and insufficient independent verification. The objective is to ensure, through a software solution, compliance and transparency before citizens and media, increasing data-driven decision-making and ensuring continuity amid institutional changes while achieving the 2030 targets.

      The Solution
The National Climate Action Observatory, by DigitalProjex, is an online platform to track and measure Argentina’s progress toward 2030. It is structured into three sections: Monitoring (16 categories based on 23 official documents; includes a greenhouse gas emissions graph and supporting evidence), Global View (rankings and international platforms), and Climate Library (view and download PDFs of official documents and sustainability reports). It brings together 21 multi-sectoral partner organizations that contribute knowledge and analysis. It is secure, agile, efficient, and SEO-optimized.
The Result
The National Climate Action Observatory provides comprehensive and specific monitoring of Argentina’s climate commitments toward 2030, evaluating not only national goals but also all national plans and internal commitments, and incorporating probability indicators of achievement. Information is updated every six months and available in Spanish and English. This site was developed with sustainability criteria and low carbon impact, and it provides citizens, journalists, researchers, and decision-makers with precise and accessible information to drive climate action. Benefits include: detailed monitoring; a global perspective to contextualize against international platforms; and information to consult and download. It also facilitates evidence-based transparency that strengthens coordination and accountability, evaluating national plans and internal commitments, and the probability of achieving the 2030 targets. Overall, it is a secure, agile, and efficient platform that facilitates climate action and improves governance.
