Back in Uruguay, after experiencing exciting days at DrupalCon Barcelona 2024, we cannot fail to highlight the magnitude and significance of this event for the global Drupal community and for our company. This edition brought together the most prominent developers and leading companies driving web development with this open-source platform.

One of the most important moments was the traditional presentation by Dries, the founder of Drupal, who shared the current state of the Drupal project and the new trends in solution development. The talks and conferences highlighted how Drupal continues to lead in innovation, security, and flexibility—features that make it ideal for large-scale projects, including the integration of Artificial Intelligence into Drupal.

In addition to the conferences, we participated in networking meetings, gatherings, and business dinners where we exchanged ideas and laid the groundwork for partnerships with key companies in web solution development.

Another activity we participated in during our visit to Barcelona was the visit to Barcelona Activa, in coordination with the Consulate of the Uruguayan Embassy in Barcelona, to which we are grateful for their attention and courtesy.

Barcelona Activa is an agency that is transforming the local economy with a focus on sustainability and inclusion. It was a privilege to learn about their work and vision for turning the city into a global reference for entrepreneurs and companies.

For our company, DigitalProjex, it was a great opportunity to share with many sector professionals and showcase our portfolio of services, creating new business opportunities in an international market full of possibilities.

DrupalCon Barcelona 2024 allowed us not only to learn but also to connect with the main actors of the Drupal community worldwide, who received us with great enthusiasm.
